Deck the Halls is an annual Florida Studio Theatre tradition to bring holiday spirit in a Floridian flavor. It consists of many twists on classic songs with skits exploring Santa’s vacation to Sarasota. The focus of the sound design is the music to balance everything out. Most of the songs get vocal sweeteners to expand the vocal capability beyond the small cast size which I recorded and edited. The “projections” for the show are actually TV screens located to either side of the stage. For the most part this images complement in small ways the songs being sung or help accent a joke.
